What we collect and why

Registered accounts: name, email, password hash, DOB, gender, country and profile photo for account access, 18+ eligibility and discovery. Guests provide name, DOB, gender and country for temporary access. We process chat text/images for delivery, presence/read status, friends and blocks. Premium checkout sends billing name, email, mobile, amount and transaction reference to PayU. Complaints, policy acceptance and security events are recorded for support, safety and accountability.

Who can see it

Other users see your name, photo, age, gender, country, account/verification/Premium status and presence; full DOB/email remain private. Chat access is limited to participants. Administrators review submitted reports and preserved moderation evidence, user/payment records and complaints. Hosting, SMTP, TURN and PayU services process data needed for their services. Required information may be disclosed to lawfully authorised authorities after validation. The operator must document actual providers and international transfers before launch.

Retention and safeguards

Verified-to-verified chats persist until your copy is cleared; temporary chats expire within 12 hours or earlier and clear on sign-out/next sign-in. Reported/removed evidence is retained for at least 180 days and longer if legally held. Security event logs are retained for at least 180 days; infrastructure logs must be protected and kept in India. Account/financial records may be retained for legal duties even after deletion requests. Passwords are hashed, uploads validated and server access restricted. Use HTTPS. Conversations are not end-to-end encrypted.

Your choices

Email verification remains optional. You can clear chats, block/report contacts and decline calls. To access, correct or request deletion of data, withdraw consent or ask about processing, submit a privacy grievance. The officer validates identity and reviews retention duties before acting. Withdrawal can require closing your account; some legal records remain. Browser camera/microphone permission can be revoked in browser settings.

DPDP implementation is phased. This app includes notice, consent records and a request channel; the operator must review the provisions in force at launch, security procedures, processor arrangements and retention before claiming compliance.
